ALARM SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS
After hook-up, test the control unit. Hold down the test button until the armed light flashes and then release. Alarm should be activated. To reset, turn black switch off and then on again. The trip wire is equipped with a 2 second delay from the time the wire is tripped (broken) until the alarm goes off. The alarm will sound after the light flashes the first time after being triggered. This is to reduce the chance of false triggering due to older, corroded wire.
